Getting Around Yale

Now that you're in New Haven, there are many commuter options for getting to Yale as well as easy ways to travel around campus. Yale is walking distance from most downtown destinations. New Haven is also a train ride away from New York City and also has a citywide bus.

Students, faculty and staff can also take the Yale Shuttle simply by presenting their Yale ID. The Nighttime Shuttle can bring you safely around campus.

There are shuttle stops on the southeast and northwest corners of College St. and Wall St, near Sprague Hall.
